In an attempt to generate awareness about the significance of sports for facilitating better psychological & physical balance and maintaining discipline among sportspersons, the 5th edition of ‘Khiamniungan Sports Council Meet’ will be held at Noklak Town from January 10-21, 2022.
This sports meeting will be held in collaboration with the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ scheme, under the theme, “Imagine Life Beyond Ordinary, Driven by Values.”
According to APRO Noklak, the Advisor of Fisheries And Aquatic Resources, Evaluation and Economics And Statistics, L. Khumo will attend this meet as the special guest for the opening function.
The Advisor of Prisons, Printing And Stationary, H. Haiying will grace the closing function as the special guest.
Furthermore, the sporting events which will be played during the occasion includes – Badminton (men and women); Volleyball (men and women); Football (men and women); Cross Country Marathon Race (men and women); and Cross Bow shooting for men.
