Agartala, September 05, 2022 : Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi ahead of the meeting between the Prime Ministers of India and Bangladesh.
Saha left for New Delhi on Sunday evening, met with PM Modi and wrote in social media that “I am very happy to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji in New Delhi today.”
Tripura CM apprised Prime Minister Modi about the current progress of various projects in health, education, commerce, infrastructural development and ongoing projects of central and state governments.
He also wrote “The Prime Minister has assured to further extend the necessary assistance of the central government for the overall development of Tripura. We are committed to continue development work for the welfare of the people of the state in the vision of the Prime Minister.”
Meanwhile, it is worthy to mention here that the office of the Chief Secretary of Tripura has compiled a file of information which needs to be addressed by the Bangladesh government along with Tripura for boosting the progress of trade and economic development.
