Agartala, September 14, 2022 : The newly appointed BJP president of Tripura, Rajib Bhattacharjee on Wednesday appealed to the karyakartas for their collective efforts in giving a befitting reply to the opposition CPIM and Congress parties once again by defeating them in the assembly election of 2023.

While completing his party’s organizational tour for two days in the South Tripura district on Wednesday, Bhattacharjee interacted with the karyakartas of Jolaibari Mandal and confirmed that BJP will definitely return to power in 2023.

Addressing the session, Pradesh BJP president Bhattacharjee said “The Bharatiya Janata Party will return to power in the assembly election of 2023. The opposition political parties are repeatedly claiming that the BJP has no organization. The main opposition political party CPIM is whispering that the BJP has become weak and cannot return to power in 2023.”

“But the real fact is, the karyakartas of the saffron party are too strong. These two political parties- CPIM and Congress had friendly relations and looted the people in the past. The karyakartas had taught them a proper lesson in 2018, and now, these karyakartas will again teach another one in 2023 by achieving victory for BJP again with collective efforts of all together”, said Bhattacharjee.

The karyakartas of Jolaibari mandal felicitated the newly appointed president Bhattacharjee on Wednesday afternoon.

He said “I have become the state president of BJP. The party’s central committee has assigned me responsibility. Now, time is less, but the work is more. The party has kept faith in me. However, I am not an extraordinary person. I am also a common karyakarta like the others in the party. The felicitation would be fruitful when a lotus will bloom from this assembly constituency with the collective efforts of all karyakartas.”

Citing the multiple schemes initiated and benefits provided by the BJP-led government in Tripura, Bhattacharjee said, “Concrete houses were ensured to each and every poor families, free tap water connections, LPG connections, free five kilograms of rice per head is being given through PDS after announcement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP-led government in the state has been announcing schemes one after another for the welfare of common people.”

“Even, the former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has made a commitment to provide Rs 2000 as allowances, the incumbent Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha fulfilled this commitment and Rs 2000 will be transferred to the beneficiaries before Durga Puja festival across the state”, he also added.

Despite many internal misunderstandings, Pradesh BJP president further appealed to all karyakartas to focus on 2023 and bloom the lotus flower-led political party again in the assembly election of Tripura.

Bhattacharjee also welcomed 145 voters of 35 families from CPIM and TIPRA Motha under Sabroom mandal under South Tripura district at Hrishi-Aurobinda Milatayan Hall. At the joining programme, local MLA Shankar Roy and BJP state general secretary Papia Datta were also present.
