The Regional Director of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) – Sanjeev Singha today called-on the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister – Pema Khandu at the latter’s office in Secretariat.
During the courtesy call, both the dignitaries discussed about the critical role of banks in ensuring the successful implementation of the government’s welfare schemes.
Besides, the officials has also discussed about the strategies for enhancing financial literacy of citizens – an effort to ensure their holistic empowerment.
Taking to Twitter, the Arunachal CM wrote “Shri Sanjeev Singha ji, Regional Director, @RBI, made a courtesy call today. We discussed among other things the critical role of banks in making the govt’s welfare schemes more successful and the need for enhancing financial literacy of our people for their holistic empowerment.”
