In yet another success in its crusade against smuggling activities, the troops of Assam Rifles confiscated narcotics worth of Rs 70 lakhs from Molnoi Village in Chandel District.

Based on specific inputs, a search operation was conducted at Molnoi Village. On thorough search of the jungle, the paramilitary troop recovered 25 soap cases containing brown sugar weighing 350 gms.

Meanwhile, the seized narcotics were handed over to the Tengnoupal Police Station for further investigation.
