Agartala, November 17, 2022: Appealing to people for developing a conception that the state government is “My Government”, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday said that the government is constantly working to solve the needs and various problems of the common people.
While inaugurating the official launch of ‘Amar Sarkar’ web portal at Muktadhara Auditorium here in Agartala city, Chief Minister Dr Saha said that the main direction of the state government is to deliver the benefits of the people-oriented projects of the central and state governments to the people. It is possible through technology. It is possible to reach people very easily through technology. The government wants that there should be no deficiency anywhere, so special importance has been given on the use of technology.
Keeping this objective in mind, the ‘Amar Sarkar’ web portal has been launched. This portal will act as a bridge between the government and the people. The Chief Minister said that apart from proper implementation of central and state government welfare projects at village and village committee level, various problems and grievances of the people can be raised from village and village level to block, district and state level through this portal.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the current state government is dynamic, development-oriented and people-oriented. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, Sabka Biswas and Sabka Prayaas are the motto of this government.
He said that the administration is working to ensure that 100 percent of the eligible beneficiaries get the benefits of various schemes of the central and state governments in the ‘Prati Ghore Sushasan’ campaign implemented in the state.
He also expressed the opinion that by organizing various fairs and public awareness programs, the good governance program in every house has been successful at present with the joint efforts of all.
In his speech, the Chief Minister also mentioned the role of public representatives in solving the basic problems of the people. He said that the current state government has been making continuous efforts to maintain peace and order. One Tripura is constantly striving to build a better Tripura by uniting the nations and peoples. Besides, various initiatives have been taken to make Tripura drug free.
Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, the special guest of the program, said that the main objective of the state government is to reach the people with various developmental programs of the government. The Secretariat will be linked with the Gram Panchayat through the ‘Amar Sarkar’ portal. So he laid special emphasis on the training required to use this portal.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the state government believes in decentralization of planning. Therefore, the main goal of the government is that the plan should come up from the grassroots level. He said that upgrading Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) is very important in making Gram Panchayat the voice of people. Along with the Gram Panchayat Development Plan, the Government has given priority to Sustainable Development Goals. Every gram panchayat and village committee is ‘my government’ to quickly solve the problems of the people of the area.
It is worthy to mention here that various problems and complaints of the people will be registered through the village and village committee level workers in this URL https://amarsarkar.tripura.gov.in/. A total of 78 departments including village development (panchayat) departments have been included in this portal.
On the occasion, Additional Director of Rural Development department Prasun Dey presented an outline of the ‘Amar Sarkar web portal’ through a power point presentation.
Special Secretary of Rural Development department Dr Sandeep N Rathore gave a welcome speech on the occasion. Deputy Director of Rural Development department Jaydeep Chakraborty delivered the vote of thanks.
