Arunachal BJP Legislator Withdraws Land Regulation Resolution After Government Assurances

Itanagar, July 24: Pani Taram, BJP legislator from the 21st Koloriang constituency, withdrew a private member resolution urging the government to regulate land transactions in Arunachal Pradesh.

The resolution aimed to ensure transparency and protect citizens’ rights in land dealings, but was withdrawn after Urban Development Minister Balo Raja assured Taram of government action.

Taram had emphasized the need for a comprehensive framework to safeguard the state’s natural resources and promote fair practices in property dealings.

The legislator also updated on restoration work in his constituency, reporting progress in relief efforts in Koloriang, Damin, and Sarli towns affected by recent cloudbursts and heavy rainfall.

Taram acknowledged the Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s support in reconnecting towns and villages impacted by the natural disasters.
