Itanagar, Aug 31 – Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu commended a team of veterinary doctors for successfully performing eye surgery on an Asiatic black bear at the Itanagar Biological Park.

Taking to a microblogging site, Khandu wrote, “This is yet another achievement we should feel proud of! Congratulations to the team! This further shows our commitment to protect & care for wildlife.”

The successful surgery demonstrates the state’s dedication to wildlife conservation and animal welfare.
