Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh held a meeting with Lt Gen Shri Vikas Lakhera, Director General of Assam Rifles, accompanied by Maj General Shri Ravroop Singh, IGAR (South), at his secretariat office in Imphal.

Following the meeting, the Chief Minister shared on X, “Deliberated on various progressive activities undertaken by the Assam Rifles while stressing on the necessity to work in the interest of the general public and aspirations of the State Government towards the welfare of the people.”

He further expressed his appreciation for the Assam Rifles, stating, “I appreciate the AR for extending their dedicated services in maintaining security in the state while working with commitment in enforcing law & order, and protecting lives and properties of Indian citizens.”

The discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration between state authorities and security forces in ensuring the safety and well-being of the people of Manipur.
