Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma launched India’s first fully digital lottery, EasyLottery, in New Delhi. The lottery promises a seamless and transparent experience, with a first winner prize of Rs 50 crore.
EasyLottery aims to bring transparency and professionalism to the lottery sector, with digital ticket sales, prize money disbursals, and tax payments. The lottery is designed to be a game of chance, with a “non-transferable ticket” policy to prevent money laundering.
Tickets are priced at Rs 5,000, with three selection options for players. EasyLottery guarantees a first prize for every draw, with the highest odds of winning large prizes.
Chief Minister Sangma praised the initiative, saying it will benefit society and individuals, and provide a transparent alternative to online games and illegal betting apps.
