Itanagar, September 17: The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Tawang initiated a 3-day training program on basic disaster response for community volunteers.

The program, aimed at strengthening community resilience, included hands-on training sessions, such as CPR training using dummies.

The initiative seeks to improve community volunteers’ capacity to respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring timely and efficient disaster management.
