Kohima, Oct 16: Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, Küdecho Khamo, has criticized the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) for its slow and sub-standard work on the NH-29 Kohima-Jessami Road.
Speaking at the District Planning and Development Board meeting in Phek, Khamo expressed concern over the deplorable condition of the Kikruma-Chakhabama stretch. He noted that maintenance contractors have failed to perform, yet no action has been taken.
Khamo highlighted the significant financial losses incurred daily due to the poor road conditions, emphasizing the need for urgent attention.
The meeting also honored Superintendent of Police, Phek, Dr. Pritpal Kaur Batra, who received the US-based International Association of Chiefs of Police award.
