Sikkim Clinch Thrilling Victory Over Arunachal In First-Class Cricket Match

Sikkim secured a thrilling win against Arunachal, defending a target of 300 by bowling out their opponents for 195 runs. Captain Lee Yong Lepcha starred with a five-wicket haul (5-38), supported by Ankur Malik’s four wickets.

Malik’s impressive match haul of 10 wickets earned him the Player of the Match award. Sikkim’s strong batting performance, led by Ashish Thapa’s 157 and Palzor Tamang’s 103, set the tone for victory.

Sikkim earned six points from the win and will face Nagaland in their next away game. President Tika Subba hailed the victory as a “special Diwali gift” for Sikkimese cricket fans, praising the team’s determination and teamwork.
