The Manipur government has reversed its earlier decision to resume normal classes in all schools, including Government, Government-Aided, Private, and Central institutions, in the state. According to a fresh order issued on November 24, schools in the valley districts will remain closed on November 25 and 26, 2024.

The government had initially directed all schools to function normally, but the latest decision reflects the prevailing situation in the region. No specific reasons were mentioned in the order for the sudden reversal.
