The Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura has successfully thwarted several smuggling attempts along the Indo-Bangladesh border, seizing contraband goods worth over ₹11 lakh. In the first operation, BSF personnel confiscated a variety of items, including ganja, Phensedyl, and sugar, totaling ₹9,66,532 in value.
A subsequent operation led to the seizure of additional contraband, including sugar valued at ₹2,27,061. These operations highlight the BSF’s ongoing efforts to curb illegal smuggling activities and strengthen security along the border.
