Imphal, Dec 7: Security forces in Manipur’s Thoubal district seized a cache of arms and ammunition during a search operation on Friday. The operation took place in the foothills of Pechi Chinglak.
The seized items include an SMG carbine with a magazine, three hand grenades, four cartridges, a bayonet, and a radio set. Authorities are investigating the origin and intended use of the weapons.
