The Border Security Force (BSF) has seized smuggled goods worth ₹9.83 lakh along the India-Bangladesh border in Meghalaya on December 13, 2024. The seized items include fish, blankets, sugar, garlic, and liquor.

The seizure was made during routine surveillance by BSF personnel in the region. Authorities suspect the goods were intended for illegal cross-border trade. The BSF continues its efforts to strengthen security along the border and prevent smuggling activities.
