Imphal, Dec 14: A militant of the banned Kangleipak Communist Party (People’s War Group) was arrested on Friday in Imphal West district. Police seized a significant amount of arms and ammunition, including one SLR rifle, two .303 rifles, and several rounds of ammunition, from the militant’s possession.

The arrest took place in the Bamdiar area, and the militant is currently under interrogation. Authorities are continuing their efforts to curb militant activities in the region.
