Agartala, December 14, 2024: The Tripura police are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety and security of attendees at the much-anticipated concert of renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal, scheduled to take place at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in the capital this evening. West District Superintendent of Police, Dr. Kiran Kumar K, along with other senior officials, was on-site to inspect the security arrangements.
Speaking to reporters, Dr. Kiran Kumar K stated, “Famous singer Shreya Ghoshal will perform at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in a few hours. We anticipate a large crowd for this event, and our security administration is fully prepared.” He further added that more than seven hundred TSR (Tripura State Rifles) personnel, along with 50 CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) and police officers, will be deployed to ensure the event proceeds without incident.
In addition to the substantial deployment of security personnel, surveillance will be enhanced using drones. “We estimate that about 30,000 people will gather at this event. To prevent any untoward incident, we have tightened security measures and will conduct surveillance through drones,” Dr. Kiran Kumar K explained.
