Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Meghalaya seized contraband items valued at over ₹14.20 lakhs during a special operation along the Indo-Bangladesh border. The operation was carried out in the East Khasi Hills (EKH) and South West Khasi Hills (SWKH) districts.

The seized items include garlic, sugar, liquor, blankets, clothing, motorcycles, and cattle. This successful operation highlights the BSF’s ongoing efforts to combat smuggling and enhance security along the sensitive border areas.
