Assam Police have arrested two Bangladeshi nationals, Mahabul Haque and Shahina Akhtar, for illegally entering India near the international border.

The individuals were detained by Assam Police personnel during a routine border surveillance operation. Following their arrest, both were immediately sent back to Bangladesh.

The operation is part of the ongoing efforts to maintain border security in the region.
