Guwahati, Dec 25: The Assam Congress has vowed to continue its protests against Union Home Minister Amit Shah until he resigns for his alleged derogatory remarks about Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Demonstrations were held in Guwahati, Tezpur, Goalpara, and other areas on Tuesday, with party leaders leading the charge.

Assam Congress President Bhupen Kumar Borah, Deputy Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi, and Leader of the Opposition Debabrata Saikia were at the forefront of the protests. Gogoi condemned Shah’s remarks, accusing the RSS and Hindu Mahasabha of never recognizing the Indian Constitution.
