Assam’s Krishnaav Hazarika secured an impressive 6th position at the 22nd Northeast FIDE Rating Chess Tournament, which took place from December 17th to 21st, 2024, in Tripura.

The tournament, organized by the Gomati District Chess Association and the All Tripura Chess Association, attracted top chess players from across the Northeast. Hazarika’s strong performance not only earned him a spot in the top 10 but also added 93.4 Elo rating points to his tally, further enhancing his standing in the competitive chess world.
