Rebecca Phil emerged victorious, clinching the gold medal at the 28th Kyorugi & 10th Poomsae State Taekwondo Championship 2024, which concluded on December 29 in Basar, Leparada District, Arunachal Pradesh.

The championship, held at the Marto Kamdak Multipurpose Cultural Indoor Hall, saw 468 athletes compete across a range of weight divisions in the sub-junior and junior categories. These events served as a qualifier for athletes to represent their districts in future state, national, and international competitions.

Phil’s stellar performance highlights her dedication and skill in Taekwondo, setting a strong foundation for her future successes in the sport.
