Sikkim Hit By Magnitude 3.9 Earthquake, Tremors Felt In Western Regions

A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck Sikkim on Thursday afternoon, causing mild tremors in the western and south-western parts of the state. The epicenter was located approximately 264 kilometers from Tadong, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Earlier on the same day, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake was reported in Churachandpur, Manipur, as per the National Center for Seismology.
