Agartala, January 03, 2025: The stage is set for a spectacular cultural extravaganza as renowned Indian playback singer Kunal Ganjawala, celebrated singer Eman Chakraborty and the iconic ‘Fakira Band’ are all geared up to perform at the vibrant four-day ‘Milan Mela.’ The festival will kick off on January 29 in Fatikroy, Unakoti district promising a blend of music, culture and tradition.

Adding grandeur to the occasion, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha will inaugurate the event in the presence of an illustrious lineup of dignitaries including Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Labour and Youth Affairs & Sports Minister Tinku Roy, BJP State General Secretary Bhagaban Das and ARD, Fisheries & SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das.

Fakira Band, the torchbearer of Bengal’s lost and ancient folk culture, literature and music will bring a unique flavor to the festival. Local talents from Tripura will also grace the stage showcasing the state’s rich musical heritage.

The ‘Milan Mela’ is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors, with its rich lineup of performances symbolizing unity through culture and music.
