In a remarkable act of compassion, Purnima Gyadi, a resident of Tagangwarrang village in Seppa, rescued a leopard cat kitten on January 1, 2025. The daughter of the late Lt. Bantaram Gyadi, Purnima acted quickly to ensure the safety of the vulnerable animal and facilitated its relocation to the Biological Park in Itanagar for rehabilitation and care.

The authorities at the Biological Park have expressed their heartfelt appreciation for Purnima’s swift and selfless actions. Her efforts have provided the kitten with a second chance at life and contributed significantly to the conservation of wildlife in Arunachal Pradesh.
