Chief Minister N. Biren Singh participated in the 42nd Maralui Karalimei Swijoikang (MKS) General Conference, 2025, held at Maram.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to development, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for several key projects, including construction of Rigid Pavement in Senapati District Headquarters (Rs. 27.26 crores), boys and Girls Hostel for Tribals at Maram (Rs. 5 crores), tourist Circuit in Maram Area (Rs. 6 crores), meeyamgi Shanglen (Multipurpose Indoor Hall) (Rs. 2.5 crores), sports Ground with Gallery (Rs. 2.5 crores), infrastructure Development of Maram Police Station, infrastructure Creation of CHC Maram, construction of Office for SDO Lairouching, infrastructure Creation of PHC Maram Khullen.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a Multipurpose Rural Development Centre at Maram Khullen, built at a cost of Rs. 1.5 crore.
With the theme, “Towards a Transformed Society,” the conference emphasized collective efforts, particularly from the youth, to drive progress and foster peace and prosperity in Manipur. The Chief Minister lauded the MKS for its role in community development and called for continued collaboration to build a brighter future for the state.
