Chef-de-Mission M. Rachandra Singh has appealed to the state government to release the Rs 2.8 crore budget submitted by the Manipur Olympic Association (MOA) to cover expenses for the 38th National Games.
Scheduled from January 28 to February 14 in Uttarakhand, Manipur will compete in 21 of the 34 events, including archery, boxing, and athletics, with a 436-member contingent participating across seven venues.
In a press conference held today at the Manipur Olympic Association (MOA) conference hall, M. Rachandra Singh, the Chef-de-Mission for the Manipur contingent, shared that the state will participate in several disciplines, including archery, boxing, athletics, cycling, kayaking, football, gymnastics, hockey, taekwondo, weightlifting, wrestling, judo, and rowing.
