Chief Minister N. Biren Singh on Wednesday has announced the launch of new flight services connecting Imphal to Guwahati (morning), Kolkata (evening), and Dimapur.

Operated by Alliance Air under the Viability Gap Funding scheme, the flights aim to improve accessibility in the region, with airfare capped at ₹5000 by the State Government.

Sharing the news on X, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia for their support in enhancing regional connectivity.
