Chief Minister N. Biren Singh marked the 53rd Statehood Day of Manipur with a heartfelt message of pride and unity during the celebrations held at the 1st Battalion Manipur Rifles Ground, Imphal.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), CM Biren expressed his gratitude and admiration for the state’s remarkable journey, stating, “On this historic occasion, we honour the journey of our state, the sacrifices of our forebears, and the tireless efforts of every Manipuri who has contributed to shaping our identity and progress.”

He further urged the people of Manipur to pledge their collective efforts toward building a prosperous state rooted in harmony, justice, and progress. “Let us take this opportunity to pledge our collective efforts toward building a prosperous Manipur that upholds the values of harmony, justice, and progress,” he added.

The event highlighted the state’s rich cultural heritage and its journey since attaining statehood, as leaders and citizens came together to celebrate this momentous occasion.
