In a decisive step against drug abuse and trafficking, 314.471 kg of seized narcotics were destroyed today at the Shija Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility in Lamdeng, Imphal West in Saturday. The disposal program was led by Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, underscoring the state government’s firm commitment to eradicating the drug menace.
