In a decisive step against drug abuse and trafficking, 314.471 kg of seized narcotics were destroyed today at the Shija Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility in Lamdeng, Imphal West in Saturday. The disposal program was led by Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, underscoring the state government’s firm commitment to eradicating the drug menace.

CM Biren Singh highlighted the administration’s zero-tolerance policy towards narcotics and its focus on creating a safer, drug-free society. He reiterated the government’s pledge to implement stringent anti-drug measures and raise public awareness.
