Manipur: 35 Acres Of Illegal Poppy Cultivation Destroyed In Lhungjang Village

In a joint operation, Kangpokpi Police, 133 Bn CRPF, the Forest Department, and the Executive Magistrate destroyed approximately 35 acres of illegal poppy cultivation at Lhungjang village under Saikul Police Station.

The coordinated drive marks a significant step toward achieving a drug-free Manipur. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Chief Minister N. Biren Singh commended the efforts of the teams involved and urged all stakeholders and citizens to unite in the fight against drug-related activities and illegal practices.
