Members of the DM University Tribal Students’ Union met Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan in Imphal today to present a memorandum.

The memorandum raised concerns over the status of Scheduled Tribe (ST) scholarships for tribal students and requested the Governor’s intervention for the early disbursement of pending scholarships. Governor Bhalla assured the students that he would address the issue in their interest.

In a separate event, five IPS probationers—Diksha Langthasa, Divya, Jay Barange, Chaitanya, and Kunal Uttam Shrote—paid a courtesy call to Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, today. The visit was part of their formal introduction during their training tenure.
