IIT Guwahati will host the 29th edition of Alcheringa, India’s largest cultural festival, from January 30 to February 2, 2025. This year’s theme, “Arcade Core,” combines retro gaming aesthetics with modern creativity and innovation.

The festival will open with “Saaz,” a classical flute performance by Rakesh Chaurasia. Over 100 competitions in music, dance, drama, and art will follow, showcasing the talents of participants from across the country.

The festival will also feature Pro Nights, including a surprise act on “Jaggernaut Night” (January 31), Bollywood Night with Amit Trivedi (February 1), and EDM Night “Blitzkrieg” (February 2).

Alcheringa 2025 promises to offer an exciting mix of cultural performances, social campaigns, and immersive experiences for all attendees.
