Namchi, Jan 30: The Namchi District Administrative Centre observed Martyr’s Day on Thursday, remembering the sacrifices of those who fought for India’s freedom.

A two-minute silence was observed at 11:00 AM, during which all activities, including work and traffic, were halted as a mark of respect for the martyrs.

The tribute was led by Nim Pintso Bhutia, SDM (HQ), and Saran Kalikotey, SDM Namchi, with officers and staff from various departments joining the observance.
