Border Security Force (BSF) troops in Tripura have successfully thwarted a major smuggling attempt along the Indo-Bangladesh Border. In an operation conducted on February 3, 2025, in the Putia area of Sepahijala district, the BSF seized 130 kilograms of Ganja worth ₹6.5 lakh.
In addition to the narcotic seizure, BSF personnel also rescued cattle and confiscated other contraband items, including Phensedyl, Eskuff, and illegal medicines, with a combined total value of ₹9.39 lakh.
The prompt action of the BSF underscores their ongoing efforts to combat cross-border smuggling and maintain security along the border.
