Arunachal CM Inaugurates Major Infrastructure Projects For State Development

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has inaugurated several significant infrastructure projects aimed at boosting the state’s connectivity, public amenities, and recreational facilities. These projects align with the government’s continued efforts to enhance the quality of life for its residents.

On Friday, CM Khandu launched key initiatives, including a 15 km road from Babrang (Murga) Bridge Point to Rho Village, an Inspection Bungalow at Tsechu in Thingbhu Circle, a Recreation Park at Rho in Jang SD, an Adventure Zone in Tawang, a hostel with furniture at the Government Residential School in Thingbu, and an Inspection Bungalow at Mago.

In addition to these completed projects, the Chief Minister laid the foundation for several future infrastructure developments, such as residential accommodation for officers and staff of North West Zone PWD in Tawang, a Mini Secretariat at Jang, the improvement of Jang ADC HQ Township Roads under CMCSRDP-II, quarters and boundary walls for pupils of Ani Cultural Centre in Rhidungtse, Jang, and the widening and BT of Kimnas Road (3.5 km) in Jang.

Other projects include a hostel building for the Silling Samten Cultural Centre in Jang, infrastructure development at Tsachu Hot Spring in Tawang, and at Mago Hot Spring in Thingbu Circle. A community hall and boundary wall at Tsachu, an Inspection Bungalow at Luguthang under Jang Sub-Division, and a ring road from Chagar Kimnas Road to Silling Gonpa in Jang are also part of the newly launched initiatives.

The foundation stones have been laid for residential buildings for teachers, head monks, and doctors in Jang Mon Palpung Jangchub Choekorling, as well as a kitchen cum dining hall and public convenience at Tashi Samten Choiling in Sarong.

These projects are part of the state government’s broader development agenda to ensure better facilities and improved living standards for the residents of Arunachal Pradesh.
