Tripura: BSF Seizes ₹13 Lakh Worth Of Smuggled Goods Along Indo-Bangladesh Border

In a major crackdown on smuggling, Border Security Force (BSF) troops in Tripura successfully thwarted two smuggling attempts along the Indo-Bangladesh border, recovering goods worth ₹13 lakh.

On the night of February 6-7, 2025, BSF personnel seized clothing valued at ₹6,81,632 from the Krishnanagar area in Belonia, South Tripura. In a separate operation in Amzadnagar, Belonia, 540 mobile displays worth ₹6,48,000 were confiscated.

These actions highlight the BSF’s continued vigilance in securing the border and curbing illegal trade activities.
