Gangtok, Feb 25 : Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilisers, Anupriya Patel, arrived in Gangtok on Tuesday for a two-day visit to Sikkim.
During her visit from February 25 to 26, she will review the implementation of Central Government schemes and programmes in Pakyong District through field visits.
She was accompanied by her Private Secretary, Akhilesh Kumar, and Additional Private Secretary, R.K. Katiyar.
On her arrival at Helipad Burtuk, she was received by Dr. Anusha Lama, Principal Director-cum-Mission Director of NHM; Rajendra Chettri, PD-cum-CEO of STDC; Sisum Wangchuk Bhutia, ADC Gangtok; Praneet Pradhan, Joint Secretary (Home Protocol); Dr. Salona Mukhia, ADHS (H&FW), along with officials from the Health & Family Welfare Department and STDC, Government of Sikkim.
