Gangtok, Mar 1: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the reigning champions of the TATA IPL, made history on Friday by bringing their 2024 IPL trophy to Gangtok. This marks the first-ever visit of the prestigious trophy to the capital of Sikkim, as part of KKR’s ongoing Trophy Tour celebrating their third IPL championship win.

The event featured visits to cultural landmarks such as the Rumtek Monastery and Do Drul Chorten Buddhist temple, giving fans the opportunity to experience the region’s spiritual heritage. The IPL trophy was then showcased at West Point Mall on MG Road, where excited supporters gathered to celebrate the team’s success.

As the Trophy Tour continues across East India, KKR is bringing their victory closer to their passionate fanbase ahead of the upcoming IPL season.
