Gangtok, Mar 6: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang will participate in the India Today Conclave 2025, where he will join Union Minister Kiren Rijiju in a discussion on the Northeast’s role in India’s development.

The session, titled “The Sun Rises in the Northeast,” will highlight the region’s growing influence and its contributions to national progress. Tamang’s participation underscores Sikkim’s increasing prominence in national discussions.

According to India Today’s Mood of the Nation poll, Tamang has secured a 62.1% approval rating, making him the most popular Chief Minister in Sikkim. His presence at the conclave is expected to bring attention to key issues affecting the state and the broader Northeast region.

The event will be telecast live on March 7, allowing citizens to witness the discussions on a national platform.
