Agartala, March 18, 2025: Members of the ‘Udbhabani’ Social Organization from Tripura participated in the 8th North-East Youth Festival 2025 in Gangtok, Sikkim from March 17 to March 20. This prestigious festival will witness the participation of young talents from across Northeast India, showcasing their creativity and skills.

The ‘Udbhabani’ team is competing in the “Youth Creation” category, where they are exhibiting their exquisite bamboo and rattan artworks, along with handcrafted furniture. Additionally, some members of the organization has also attended the festival as observers, gaining insights into the diverse cultural expressions of the region.

Notably, ‘Udbhabani’ had secured first place in the Tripura State Youth Festival held in November last year. Their victory earned them the opportunity to represent the state at the Northeast Youth Festival 2025.

Speaking on their participation, a member of the organization stated, “This festival is a great platform for us to showcase our artistic heritage and learn from fellow artists. We are proud to represent Tripura on such a significant stage.”

The event is expected to provide a wider platform for young artisans to display their talents, foster cultural exchange, and gain invaluable experiences in their creative pursuits.
