Itanagar, April 4: A significant milestone has been achieved in Arunachal Pradesh’s healthcare sector with the inauguration of the Designated Microscopic Centre (DMC) and a state-of-the-art Dental Unit at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Jang, Tawang region. Zila Panchayat Chairperson Leki Gombu formally inaugurated the facilities, marking a major boost to healthcare infrastructure in the region.
The DMC aims to enhance diagnostic capabilities, particularly in the early detection and elimination of Tuberculosis. Meanwhile, the Dental Unit will ensure improved access to oral healthcare services for the people of Jang and surrounding areas. This initiative is a key step in strengthening the healthcare delivery system in the region, reflecting the government’s commitment to bridging the healthcare gap in remote regions.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s visionary leadership in driving healthcare development across Arunachal Pradesh was acknowledged by the villagers and community leaders, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude for his continued support. With the launch of the DMC and Dental Unit, CHC Jang is now better equipped to serve the healthcare needs of the population, marking a significant leap forward in public health services in the region.
