Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton carried out surprise inspections at various departments in the Civil Secretariat in Kohima on Thursday as part of the ongoing drive to ensure discipline and accountability in government offices.
The departments visited included Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Social Welfare, Evaluation, Economics, and Planning. The checks aimed to monitor attendance, assess functioning, and address cases of absenteeism.
Patton reiterated the government’s commitment to building a more responsive and responsible administration for the people of Nagaland through regular and consistent monitoring efforts.
