Agartala, April 09, 2025: In a scathing attack on the ruling party, CPIM Politburo member and Leader of the Opposition Jitendra Chaudhury on Wednesday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is engaged in a “conspiracy to destroy the next generation.”

Speaking at a special extended session of DYFI and TYF held at Dasarath Dev Smriti Bhavan in Agartala city, Chaudhury said, “Under the BJP regime, the youth power of the country is on the verge of destruction. In Tripura, the BJP, Tipra Motha, and IPFT have joined hands to mortgage the future of the state’s youth.”

He further accused the ruling parties of pushing the younger generation toward criminal activities. “They are not only neglecting the youth, but actively pushing them into the world of crime, including drug abuse,” Chaudhury alleged.

He emphasized that the Left’s youth wing would intensify its efforts to counter these developments. “This government is indulging in a conspiracy to destroy the next generation. The Left Youth Organization will launch a larger movement in the coming days to bring the youth back on the right path,” he said.

The session at Dasarath Dev Smriti Bhavan, he explained, was part of a broader campaign aimed at mobilizing young people and raising awareness about the challenges they face under the current administration.
