Itanagar, Apr 18: Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, also the Power Minister, emphasized the need for a coordinated and timely approach to meet the state’s growing power demands.

During a review meeting at Namsai on Thursday, Mein focused on the comprehensive scheme to strengthen the state’s power transmission and distribution system. He highlighted the importance of developing a robust network to support the state’s upcoming hydropower projects.

The meeting also discussed the current status of ongoing projects, the reasons for delays, and reaffirmed the government’s focus on enhancing the power sector, as stated in an official release from the Deputy Chief Minister’s office.
