Kohima, Apr 18, 2025: The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has forecast light to moderate rainfall across most districts of the state until April 24. Cloudy weather is expected to prevail during this period.

The NSDMA also indicated the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning at isolated locations.

Heavy rainfall is predicted in Tuensang district on April 20 and 21.

The authority has cautioned that due to high precipitation in the hill sectors, several lowland and foothill districts including Dimapur, Nuiland, Chumoukedima, Bhandari, Baghty, Tizit, and Tuli are vulnerable to waterlogging and flash floods.
