Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Reviews Healthcare And Tourism Projects In Menchukha

Itanagar Apr 19: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu visited Menchukha on Saturday to review key development projects in the healthcare and tourism sectors.

Accompanied by Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona, Khandu inspected the newly constructed Community Health Centre, where he engaged with medical staff and assured them of ongoing government support to improve healthcare services. He also expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality of Menchukha’s residents.

Khandu praised Minister Sona for his dedication to the region’s development and leadership in driving growth. The Chief Minister also visited the Menchuka Cultural Haat, an under-construction project aimed at promoting the rich cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh’s indigenous tribes. The initiative, under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme, will serve as a cultural hub for showcasing local traditions and crafts.

Additionally, Khandu inspected the ongoing work at the Menchuka Adventure Park, which is also being developed under the Swadesh Darshan scheme. The park will offer various adventure activities, including ziplining, wall climbing, and ATV rentals, helping to promote eco-tourism and youth engagement in the region.

These projects are expected to significantly enhance the region’s healthcare and tourism infrastructure, providing a boost to Menchukha’s economy and positioning it as a key destination for both cultural and adventure tourism.
