Kohima, Apr 19: Assam Rifles has successfully launched an Agniveer Registration and Awareness Drive in various districts of Nagaland. Registration Centres and Pre-Recruitment Drive activities have been set up in Tuensang, Kiphire, Phek, Meluri, Noklak, Mon, and Mokokchung.

The initiative aims to provide comprehensive support to candidates, including detailed explanations of eligibility criteria and assistance with the online registration and application process.

Additionally, a four-week pre-recruitment training programme focusing on physical conditioning and academic coaching is being conducted at the Battalion Headquarters.

As of now, 114 boys and 11 girls have enrolled in the Agniveer scheme.
